At Bethel, we believe that God has uniquely called and equipped His church to both proclaim and live out the Gospel. Our desire is to be a people wholeheartedly committed to Christ, His mission, and to seek to have His heart for the lost. We’re looking for ways to bring His light and true hope to the brokenness all around us. We know that the Gospel is truly the only answer for our broken world. Therefore, we seek to live and to hold up the Word of God as the true source of direction for our lives. We are committed to seeking God for tangible ways to love and serve as people of faith, keeping in front of us at all times, that it is He who builds His Church. We are a community of real people, who have and continue to be transformed by our faith in a Great God. We are united in a common vision, bound together in a covenant of love. We have walked through seasons of brokenness together, and we have been humbled by the unmerited grace and redemption we’ve found. We cherish the healing that comes through forgiveness, and we stand in awe of God’s invitation to be part of the greatest cause on earth. We are a people not afraid to get our hands dirty—counting it an honour to partner with God in the restoration of broken lives, families, communities, and nations. We serve an amazing God, whose dwelling is the nations and who chose us to be His vessels. How amazing is that!! We are not a perfect church, but we serve a perfect God. Our desire is to honour Him, to please Him, and to live lives that reflect His glory. We believe the deepest pursuit of our lives is the pursuit of knowing Him intimately—and that pursuit is the heartbeat of who we are. We are lovers of God, with hearts set on Him alone.
