Freda Steeves
With a deep conviction that God had called her, Freda attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in Peterborough, Ontario. After graduating, she was immediately given the opportunity to serve and contribute to building God’s Kingdom. She began her ministry under the leadership of Pastor Byrne Crooks, serving first in Timber River and then in Campbellton, New Brunswick.
In 1995, Freda was called to provide pulpit supply at a church just outside of Campbellton. Over time, she transitioned into the role of Pastor at Full Gospel Country Church in Nash Creek, New Brunswick, where she served until 2000. Later that year, after much prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, she felt led to join Bethel Community Church in South Lochaber, where she continues to minister today.
Her time at Bethel has deepened her understanding of the lasting fruit that comes from years of dedicated service in God’s harvest field. These years have brought countless opportunities, both locally and globally, and through it all, God has proven His faithfulness. Freda continues to serve at Bethel, trusting that God is doing great things in this season and in the days ahead.
