Prayer

Prayer

Apr 22 7:30 am

We believe that prayer is a powerful lifeline, a direct connection to the heart of God. It’s not just something we do; it’s the way we draw near to Him, allowing His peace, guidance, and strength to fill every aspect of our lives. Whether in moments of joy or in times of sorrow, prayer is how we invite God into the very detail of our lives. We know, without a doubt, that we cannot walk this life without Him.

Prayer has the power to heal us, to restore us, and to transform us from the inside out. No prayer is too small, and no request is too great for God. Prayer changes hearts, it empowers us to follow His calling, and it draws us closer into relationship with Him. It is the heartbeat of who we are as His people.

Each Tuesday and Thursday morning, we gather to pray, knowing that when we seek His presence, He will meet us.  In these quiet moments, we come together to center ourselves in His presence, to listen, and to lift our hearts in prayer.

Scripture calls us to a life of constant communion with God. In 1 Thessalonians 5:17, we are encouraged to “pray without ceasing.” Jesus promises that when we ask, seek, and knock, He will answer: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). James reminds us that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).

We believe that God’s heart is moved by the prayers of His people. There is incredible, life-changing power in coming before Him, and He is faithful to meet us where we are.

“But I will sing of Your strength, in the morning I will sing of Your love; for You are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.” Psalm 59:16 (NIV)
